Following his short film Pieces, The Huffington Post declared that in Jack Weatherley "A clear voice in British cinema has arrived." The film premiered at the BFI London Film Festival and screened in competition at the Leeds International Film Festival, nominated in the Best British Short category.

Making the step from a career directing commercial to narrative work, his first short Straight Way Lost premiered at BFI LFF 2011, before enjoying a fruitful run on the international festival circuit and being picked up for distribution, resulting in a number of broadcast slots.

A 2012 commission saw Jack collaborate with British band UNKLE on commercial doc The Score, a musical exploration of the Euro 2012 tournament, which screened in over 100 countries.

Jack has been named a 'director to watch' by MovieScope magazine, was mentored by Peter Strickland on Guiding Lights, Europe's most prestigious film mentoring scheme, and is developing his first feature.

Jack is represented for film and TV by Jack Thomas at Independent Talent.

As well as writing in the third person, Jack directs commercials, branded content and promos, with previous clients including Nike, Rolex, LinkedIn and the NBA.
