Following his short film Pieces, The Huffington Post declared that in Jack Weatherley "A clear voice in British cinema has arrived." The film premiered at the BFI London Film Festival before a run on the international festival circuit.
Garnering further worldwide recognition, his body of work includes commercial doc commission The Score, in collaboration with British band UNKLE, a musical exploration of the Euro 2012 tournament, which screened in over 100 countries. The Hope You Promised Love, an experimental short starring Jim Sturgess and Stacy Martin and Run, a moving portrait of athlete Paula Radcliffe funded by Arts Council England.
Jack has been named a 'director to watch' by MovieScope magazine, was mentored by Peter Strickland on Guiding Lights, Europe's most prestigious film mentoring scheme, and is developing his first feature.
Jack is represented for film and TV by Jack Thomas at Independent Talent.
As well as writing in the third person, Jack directs commercials for brands including Nike, Rolex, UEFA and LinkedIn and music videos for artists Nick Cave, Warren Ellis and Toydrum.
